Freeze Dried Nattokinase Enzyme 20000 FU/g is a digestive enzyme that speeds up reactions in the body. It is actually a protein extracted from the popular Japanese food called natto. Natto is made by boiling soybeans that have been fermented with the Bacillus Natto bacteria. It is commonly used as a natural alternative remedy to modern medicines. You cannot find nattokinase in other foods than natto since it is produced through a particular fermentation process. You can use a probiotic fiber as a filler, such as psyllium or inulin, to reduce the amount in a capsule. For instance, mixing 3 parts of probiotic fiber with 1 part nattokinase will result in a dosage of 2000 FU per capsule.
