Organic tongkat ali root extract powder is made from a shrubby tree native to Southeast Asia, Malaysia and Indonesia. The plant is also known by the names Long Jack Ali and Malaysian Ginseng and one of the most popular herbals in Malaysia and Indonesia. Since ancient times, the root has often been boiled down and consumed as a general elixir.
Tongkat remains popular today and is now mostly used as a general tonic herb for relieving fatigue, enhancing physical strength, improving libido and stamina, increasing blood circulation and regaining intestinal health. It is believed to be natural phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5) inhibitor.

Suggested use
The suggested dose is 200 to 500 mg per day for adults. Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight.
Note, an EFSA safety study found that tongkat in very large doses (2 gram/kg body weight) can be unsafe. In addition, tests of tongkat products from Malaysia have found that many contain excess quantities of mercury.
