The fruit, that actually grows on a cactus tree, is also known by the names red pitaya fruit, strawberry pear and pitahaya. Pitaya is a veritable superfruit in antioxidants, such as betalains, hydroxycinnamates, along with flavonoids and fibers. The deep red pigments of dragon fruit betalains have been shown to impede the bad LDL cholesterol from becoming oxidized or damaged, while hydroxycinnamates have demonstrated an anticancer activity. Lastly, the flavonoid antioxidants have been linked to better brain health and a reduced risk of heart disease.
The pitaya is a low calorie fruit with a large fiber content and provides a hefty amount of multiple vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that protect your cells from damage. The oils of the red dragon fruit seeds contains several healthy fatty acids, mainly linoleic-, oleic- and palmitic acid, along with smaller amounts of stearic-, cis-vaccenic-, linolenic-, palmitoleic- and myristic acid.
By utilizing freeze drying methods, the organic red pitaya juice powder nutrients in the ruby red pulp are conserved. Freeze-dried means that when the product is manufactured, the fruit is rapidly frozen to -40 C / -40 F, after which the formed ice crystals are removed in a vacuum. RETURNS
Order cancellation
All orders can be cancelled until they are shipped. If your order has been paid and you need to make a change or cancel an order, you must contact us within 12 hours. Once the packaging and shipping process has started, it can no longer be cancelled.
Refunds
Your satisfaction is our #1 priority. Therefore, you can request a refund or reshipment for ordered products if:
- If you did not receive the product within the guaranteed time( 45 days not including 2-5 day processing) you can request a refund or a reshipment.
- If you received the wrong item you can request a refund or a reshipment.
- If you do not want the product you’ve received you may request a refund but you must return the item at your expense and the item must be unused.
