Organic Lion’s Mane Mushroom Supplement (Hericium erinaceus) – also known as Bearded Tooth Mushroom and Hedgehog Mushroom – is an edible, medicinal fungi that belongs to the tooth fungus group. Clinical tests show the mushroom can treat issues such as indigestion, gastric ulcer, antral sinusitis, stomach pain, bloating, and fatigue. 7. Ulcers. Lion’s mane may protect against the development of stomach ulcers by inhibiting the growth of H. pylori and protecting the stomach lining from damage.

It lowers blood sugars is by blocking the activity of the enzyme alpha-glucosidase, which breaks down carbs.
